Let's start with a "wish list", then folks can start working on whatever
pieces interest them.

Any nifty way we can use the PHP website to keep the wish-list dynamic and
updatable by many people?

- 2.4.x kernel

- Boot-strap code modified to use features available in unpatched kernel (ie
no more linuxrc-always or initrd-archive)

- 2.1.x or 2.2.x glibc

- Use of new 2.4.x kernel ramdisk/temp filesystems

- Updated packaging system
