CORRECTION!!!! 
The 40-pin is regular IDE connection, the 44-pin is for IDE w/power
built-in to the cable (laptop, microboards, etc....). Sorry for the 
braindead statement there. Thanks to Mike for pointing out that I need
more coffee this morning!
