Hey Serge,
It's plenty interesting to read your threads and see the breadth
of your opinions. I've said before that it's always refreshing to
learn from a variety of people considering all their experiences.
Over the course of your posts you've taken the opportunity to try
to stir up the nest with a certain tone set by your words that I've
collected here out of context:

     hum-drum list
     passion
     social responsibility
     attained a critical mass
we are old enough to see
     will make LEAF grow
     effortlessly
All LEAF/LRP releases are "only" scripts
     the proposal is painfully clear
     provide an unambiguous enumeration
I find mildly amusing is that people are confused
     You do the math.
Having spent several million dollars of my own money
Up until 3 weeks ago, LEAF was a quaint little space
It follows that "best practice" would be
an obvious waste that is not acceptable
     Common sense dictates
This library is obviously not used in the appliance
This is the type of stupid political decision that is made to save face
You and I have no time or desire left for stupidity
as long as these gentlemen continue to maintain their present offering
Freedom is something I value more than grown up games.

I'm not sure where you got the idea that this list, this project,
or any of us lacked passion. That's kind of insulting. And what
exactly happened three weeks ago? You showed up? And you tore the low
level guts out of Dachstein and want to call that PacketFilter? And
you don't like our file structure and our documentation? You think we
make "stupid decisions" in our "quaint little space" and that comlicates
your life? Indeed.
