Actually we dont consider that feature a must as we like the idea of updating remote systems easily. Hardware protecting the system would block that possibility (of course I understand you dont want to control that feature through software :))) > Do you have a better idea? As I have said, we dont consider that a feature. We like the idea of remote updates more than the protection it might give. Actually I think a feature like the one used in EnGarde (I think is called IDS) that makes even root "a normal user" is more desirable.
