I got it, thank you. Actually I did not much of a research on the electronics, just trying to find out where they went with the bloody pin 62 of the IDE controller chip. I placed a request with SST and Apacer to tell me where the lead goes to. In my case the R8 position on the module is just left empty, I hope that this is the place where they normally put the jumper. This is the only place where I could see a possibility to still hand-solder a jumper to. All other places are just too small for a non SMT shop. If (what I hope) they just jumpered pin 62 to pin 30 on the IDE socket, then building a cable adapter with the lead 30 taken out to a switch would be really easy. Should you know more about the modules please let me know. cheers Erich THINK Püntenstrasse 39 8143 Stallikon mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] PGP Fingerprint: BC9A 25BC 3954 3BC8 C024 8D8A B7D4 FF9D 05B8 0A16 ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ leaf-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-devel
