Another vote for removing node3.

Vladimir,
Node3 was useful to guarantee binary retrieval of files in the FRS prior
to the default MIME type change. This node was necessary when anonymous
FTP was available too. All of this had to do with a small subset of
extensions being recognized as binary for downloads. Example: a file
with an extension of .iso would download as text. Our workaround was
node3. It allowed us to designate the file as an ISO and use a known
good binary extension of .bin for the file.

Now that access to the FRS is http only and the default mime type is
application/octet-stream node3 is redundant.
