Hi all, I guess this one will be hard. I have been experimenting with HTB QoS systems under Bering. They really work great !! BUT, I need some help.
Say you have a 256 kbps SDL channel divided equally between two clients. When you configure HTB to share bandwith when its unused, the system needs some time to adjust itself" when conditions change, say, sudenly the second client starts to download a big file. I would like to know if its possible to speed up such reaction, reducing the "time window" to do so. I understand this will make the system more "violent" as will react faster to maybe small transfer (like a simple HTTP). Is this convinient? Is it desirable? How is it done? Thanks in advance. -- Jaime Nebrera Herrera [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Scholarships for Techies!
