Hi folks I'm running Bering UCLibC v2B3. I just got it going this weekend, and while I'm logged into it from OSX 10.2 over an ssh session (into the dropbear server), I see frequent lines appearing on the console, perhaps every hour or so.
They look like this: -------------- snip ------------------ # key_read: uudecode AAAAB3NzaC1yc2EAAAAEGTq2CQAAAQBbysBhkOhgy+IPmD0k0miwd+CEfKsasf24y7eAOrD7 Ka1wH2ot6jFtjnsGfXYWp8a2SiqbTKlPAVsT72DZwFnaocCHLCUQYb3WN7hq1QiwpLCvc/ A59iYyGjpbHxyjGFcojf00y3kzsNtrz2o0q0gUFCtfB9+Cq7XpwWFlijm89kr7nz1VWUwrAv qzNcgNRcwXlonSa failed -------------- snip ------------------ I suspect dropbear interaction with OpenSSH, if only because the first part of that string is actually googleable, finding (among others): http://cfm.gs.washington.edu/security/ssh/client-pkauth/ The snipped line above does not end up appearing in any logs. I can't say for sure if the message is from the OpenSSH end or the router end. It is perhaps worth mentioning that I am logged in to root via password authentication. Does anyone have any insights? - Brian P.S. Matt: dropbear is amazingly small. I am impressed, and thank you! ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ leaf-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-devel
