Everyone, Our domain will expire in Feb. I was wondering how we should handle renewal. Steven paid for our first two years.

Option 1: Get someone to sponser domain registration in purchasable "chunks". I'd be willing to sponser a year, and there are likely others who would do the same.
Option 2: Setup a donation pool (via pay-pal or similar), and have everyone who wants pitch in for a share of the cost of a longer term registration (maybe 3 years?).
I think a donation pool would work pretty well...we could solicit for folks to commit to a share of the registration fee (maybe $5-10 US). Once we see how many folks commit over a given time period (a few weeks or month), we'd see how long it makes sense to register for and let everyone know what their share of the cost would be.
I'd suggest simply trying to get small donations from folks via the user list, but I don't think there's much of a practical method to do anything with any money left over (likely not enough to fund any serious development work, but we probably don't need the domain registered for 50 years or something either).
Any other ideas?
