Hi; Martin's question helped me to get it up and running in a VM with Debian 4 iso-image. My previous fault has been that I didn't install gcc, but only gcc-3.3.3. So I had no link any gcc. I removed gcc-3.3.3 - installed gcc, and added gcc-3.3.3 again. Removed the old buildtool directories. Then I've finally been able to build the buildenv.
