the rootfs image from uclibc.org uses 0.9.27, which is not binary compatible with the 0.9.28 in the bering release candidate.
Is it possible to wrap a working development environment that is compatible with the release into a gcc.lrp? Or is it that all I have to do after building ulibc 0.9.29 in the uclibc-provided root is to rebuild busybox against the new libraries and I'll have a working build system? I think I'll also need ncurses and gcc_s and I don't know what else. Ideally, I could bring up a leaf system, mount the CD, do apkg -i /mnt/gcc and then be able to compile stuff that will work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
