Hi Andrew;

indeed you've made good progress with the kernel 2.6 version. Thanks for your 
effort.

I suggest you star with a clean buildenv and run tools/buildall.sh, that will 
give you a good picture which packages still fail to compile and build 
(You'll find the logfiles in in /tmp/"date").
Some of them shall be easy to fix (like missing files for etc.lrp), others 
will need more work. Currently I see about 50 packages not building, thats 
less than the half of all available packages. Some of them we may put back to 
a later time, or someone who really needs support for a unicorn modem should 
jump in and work on the package, others are real showstoppers (e.g. root, 
etc, net-snmp,...).
