Andrew; AFAIK icsi was supported in Bering-uClibc 3 for building NAS boxes based on LEAF. I doubt it's widely used, but why shall we remove it, if it works? PCMCIA might be an option as well, cause it allows using old laptops with pcmcia cards to be used as small router...
