My statement was misleading:

I just *haven't checked* NIC and WLAN. The NIC shurely works, otherwise 
Iwouldn't have benn able to use pxe.

I use pxe for installation due to convenience. YMMV.

Good to hear. 
Anyway pxeboot only worked after the BIOS upgrade.

As Andrew said, what drivers do you use?

With the 5.1-alpha version and x86_64 I do not see any special driver for the 
mSATA card.
