Charles ==>

Yes, Charles, this is really good stuff! Thank you.

One thing that I find rather annoying:

``The backup destination defaults to the last filesystem a package was
loaded from''

# cat /var/lib/lrpkg/backdisk
root=-t msdos /dev/fd0
etc=-t iso9660 /dev/hda
local=-t iso9660 /dev/hda
dhclient=-t iso9660 /dev/hda
dhcpd=-t iso9660 /dev/hda
modules=-t iso9660 /dev/hda
ramdisk=-t iso9660 /dev/hda
ramlog=-t iso9660 /dev/hda
ssh-1=-t iso9660 /dev/hda
sshd-1=-t iso9660 /dev/hda

I don't know about others; but, I am *not* likely to ever backup to
CD-ROM changes to these files ;>

You have provided *.bkup files to preserve desired backup types.

Is there someway to hardcode /var/lib/lrpkg/backdisk?

I tried placing that configuration that I wanted in root.lrp; but, alas!
it was overwritten at bootup ;<

What do you think?

Dare to fix things before they break . . .

Our capacity for understanding is inversely proportional to how much we
think we know.  The more I know, the more I know I don't know . . .
