I meant /var/lib/lrpkg/backdisk -- did you?

I don't find this to be the case.  *Where* in the backed up LRP is this
stored?  Which file is updated to contain this information?

Currently, I have a master tree of all LRP's on CD.  I have not seen
this persist across reboots . . .
