When I ran Dachstein on my Pentium II machine I remember seeing ppp0, 
eth0, and eth1 after typing ifconfig.  When Dachstein is loading the 
modules do you see dhcp, ppp, and then pppoe.  In that order?
Carlos when you send messages to me, also post them to the list.  Other 
people may have more knowledge on this then I do.
