Nope, it was like that form before I logged in. I would have remembered
that from when I made my changes the day before. Scrolling with the
<shift>+<pg up/down> was lagging too. I swear it was like using a 
remote terminal, but I could find no remote connections or other
strange indications on the system ( I went though it for about for about
3 hours yesterday, searching and testing ). I don't run any services
externally on that box. No remote utilities are installed, so I'm not 
really worried. AFAIK, it may have been a strange system fluke or
the condition you mentioned (that I didn't notice).  I just thought I 
would through it out on the by chance that someone else has 
ever run into it.
