I have a Dachstein CD LEAF, with multiple subnet's (eth1-eth3)
I have been working on this for weeks and I have made it to the point
eth0 =(cable modem)
where the subnet on eth1 works fine.
the second subnet (eth2) however does not.... here's where its at.
the lrp box is configured for dhcp on both eth1 and eth2
workstations on eth2 receive the following.

eth1 is configured as above but changing all ip's to a 192.168.1. subnet,
dhcp server and dns server.
and the connection specific DNS suffix is (private.network)
from a cmd prompt on a 2k workstation connected to eth2, I ping a www
address such as www.utahweb.com
the name eventually resolves, maybe 15 seconds later, and I get a reply,
the same or similar ping from a
workstation connected to eth1 resolves instantly! every time.
also from the NON working eth2 subnet, not a single web page will open,
other then the
page inside the lrp box. the all time out.
on the LRP I have configured the following in the DNSCACHE configuration.
1) lrp box internal IP
0.0.0.0
192.168.1.254
10.10.10.254
2) querying hosts IP's
192.168.1
10.10.10
127.0.0.1
I don't know what other areas to look in, or what other information I can
post.
any MORE help..lol would be fantastic!!
