I'm certainly no scripter... but this isn't hard at all.  If you are running
Samba, and I gather that you are, you can enable it to do domain logins.
Once this is done, you can specify a directory with the login scripts.  They
are basically msdos batch files using the 'net use' sort of commands.  You
can create separate files for each client to do pretty much whatever you
could with a batch file.  Have a look at the Samba docs for more
information... I tried it out early on and got rid of it once the browsing
configuration came together - so I don't have any samples to give you.  But
trust me, if I can do it, a reasonably smart border collie can too... ;-)
