That works fine on my Eigerstein as well.
Hmmm... strange. I've had that happen when the existing leases were still valid changing between my local network and my test network. Generally, releasing the old lease on the client machine works. > I like the sound of clashing Init Numbers as place to look. DHClient > runs before BPALogin though. Is that an issue? The dhclient package is the same package on both Eigerstein and Dachstein. I wouldn't suspect this problem since you are probably using the same bpalogin package as well. You should have had messages in your log file about dhclient starting and attempting to get a lease. It could be a lot of things. Maybe your ISP maps MAC addresses or your over the 255 character limit in syslinux.cfg. In any case, you should have messages in syslog and messages about dhclient starting. -- ~Lynn Avants aka Guitarlynn guitarlynn at users.sourceforge.net http://leaf.sourceforge.net If linux isn't the answer, you've probably got the wrong question! ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf ------------------------------------------------------------------------ leaf-user mailing list: [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-user SR FAQ: http://leaf-project.org/pub/doc/docmanager/docid_1891.html
