What exactly are you looking for. Are you suggesting specific reasons why LEAF is the better choice over the other lists? If this is the case, I assume you are just looking for a bullet type comparison. I've used only WinNT for an alternative to LEAF, although I was never satisfied with WinNT. To be quite honest, my biggest reasoning is the very simple (for some) and straightforwardness of a console. I really dislike the GUI based wizards that are used for setting up LANs. Another item to consider the sheer price difference, not just the cost of software. Chances are, that if you are running an NT or Cisco based solution, you'll be paying a certified engineer for something that most anyone can tackle through a LEAF/LRP box. Total cost of ownership and operations between the varying options. I can guarantee that the cost savings are substantial. This project was how I was able to start integrating Linux in our office.
