Bering interface is CLI and character based. Would touch screen not be
useful only in GUI environments? Unless we have a keypad simulated or
attached to the bottom of the PC thro' the ps2 port.

Subject: [leaf-user] touch screen

Hello,

I have Bering running on a smal Panel-PC (Geode CPU, 128MB RAM,
Flash HD).
This Panel PC has a touch screen. Input goes thru the serial port
(Penmount DMC9000 serial controller).
A driver is available for Linux, and calibration software for Mandrake.

Now, in order to install these, does anyone have experience with touch
screens on Bering?
I guess I load the driver-module, and prepare a package for the
calibration software. However this software uses lib.so.6.

Thanks,
wim niemans
