Thank you for the suggestion, that was one of the first things I tried. I
also replaced the ds.o & i82365.o with the most recent versions, no luck
yet.

could you try by replacing the pcmcia_core.o module from pcmcia.lrp by the
one in the Bering module directory (I do not have the hardware to test that
:-(  )
