I'm using a Gigabyte GS-SR104 motherboard which has a VIA Apollo Pro VT82C694T chipset. When booting Bering-1.0-stable from cdrom it freezes right after it displays "Creating 6M TMPFS filesystem", which displays right before it reads the packages from the CDROM.
I have tested my media, proc, memory, cdrom, and floppy drive with other motherboards and they all work fine. I'm pretty sure it's the motherboard chipset. Is this a know problem with this chipset? Has anyone else tried to boot bering with this chipset and been successful? -Scott ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf ------------------------------------------------------------------------ leaf-user mailing list: [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-user SR FAQ: http://leaf-project.org/pub/doc/docmanager/docid_1891.html
