I was wondering if someone here could help me with the following:
I've been having some headaches with getting Bering 1.0 stable working with the following setup:
PCM-4862 with 32MB [PC-104 muffin board]
PCM-3112 PC-104 to PCMCIA adapter [uses Vadem VG-468]
DWL-650 pcmcia WLan card [my understanding is that it uses the prism2]
I also changed /etc/pcmcia/config.opts to include
module "prism2_cs" opts "prism2_ignorevcc=1"
I've gotten as far as seeing reports of prism2_cs.o being loaded when the machine starts
up with the DWL-650 in the PCM-3112, but it reboots at that moment...likewise when I let the
machine start up without the card and I add it after the system finishes loading. I also get one
high-pitched beep just before the reboots in either case.
Nothing solid to help me after repeated google searches...any suggestions on getting past this matter would be greatly appreciated.
