As I set up my Firewall/Router everything seems to be ok except for two
error messages: "Cannot set route filtering on eth0" and "eth1 must be
up before shorewall starts" Can anyone give me ome clues whare to get
started on this? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Both messages are produced when Shorewall is starting.

The first message indicates that you have something like the following in /etc/shorewall/interfaces:

net eth0 routefilter

Either you have no eth0 or it hasn't come up properly.

The second message means that your have in /etc/shorewall/masq:

eth0 eth1

And you don't have an eth1 interface or it isn't starting properly.
