If by VRRP you mean "Virtual Router Redundency Protocol", then let me inform you that the Shorewall author had to do a Google search to find out what the term even meant. And that was only so that he (meaning I) could respond to your post!

In other words, Shorewall doesn't do anything regarding VRRP.
