I just had the snmpd lrp disappear again on my bering box. This time I had an error in /var/log/syslog telling me that syslogd didn't know what the snmpd process was. I had no error saying it removed it, but that is right around the time that the directory appears to have been last touched. Also has anyone else ever had a situation similar to this where even though the lrp has not been saved there is no longer a file in it?
What I mean by this is that even thought the snmpd executable was in /sbin in the lrp and started out being there on the system it is no longer in either place. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Parasoft Error proof Web apps, automate testing & more.
