Maybe not but do you have /var/lib/lrpkg/netsnmpd.local and /var/lib/lrpkg/netsnmpd.bktype? If you do then rm them and the save should work. If not, then I am wrong. It just seems to be an awful coincidence that you are seeing the exact problem I had. I should also mention I am talking about Bering uClibc. I do not know if the snmp packages for the regular Bering exhibited that behavior or not. For that matter I do not even know if there is an snmp package for Bering. ;) But regardless if the files are there removing them should fix it.
