I tried again with dhcpd loaded and shorewall not loaded, still same problem. I'm truly stumped, seems the ethernet cards are working, TCP/IP is working, I know the cable is good, and tried using a static ip on the machine connected to Bering. Can't get bering to communicate with the other machine, or vice versa. Can anyone tell me a next step?
