I upgraded my bering box 1.2 to shorewall 1.4.6b, to use a new config line
in masq configuration.

>From shorewall.net documentation: "[...] Beginning with Shorewall version
1.4.6,
you may include a range of IP addresses in this column to indicate that
Netfilter
should use the addresses in the range in round-robin fashion. [...]".

I'd like to masq my lan under a range of IP addresses and so my DMZ.

so in shorewall -> masq I wrote:

eth0                    eth1            212.103.200.20-212.103.200.24
eth0                    eth2            212.103.200.25-212.103.200.29

Then in shorewall.conf:

ADD_SNAT_ALIASES=Yes

but after shorewall restart I obtained:

Error: an inet prefix is expected rather than "212.103.200.20/31/27".

What I am doing wrong?

Thanks to all

Antonio
