*Anyway* the above link lists the price at ~ $14, which is *way* cheaper

Only problem (for me anyway) is that the TS32MDOM40V won't fit in a Soekris
4501, which I think is going to be my next "standard" platform.

Just for my own knowledge, what's the big deal with boards like the Soekris and WRAP?
The price doesn't seem that great to me for what you get in terms of power.

Not on the soekris for sure, the wrap is OK.

Is it power consumption? Size?
They seem like a lot of trouble vs boards like the VIA mini-itx or now the VIA nano-itx.

What trouble, I have now about 30 of the wrap boards running as VPN gaeways, no trouble.

Value, size, power consumption, fanless no moving parts, no cooling, yes they remain room temperature.

cheers
Erich

I have been looking at the soekris for my next LEAF - but this WRAP 1C with 3 DP83816 ethernet ports looks good at that price.

Any problem booting a stock LEAF uCibC? I read something about the lack of a keyboard controller and saw some patches on Eric's web page.

Eric how about point to your solution for removing the IDE modules after boot up. I couldn't find it in the archives.
