I was thinking ahead: http://wiki.openwrt.org/SoekrisPort Frankly, the MS-DOS filesystem 8x3 limitation is a bit of a pain and an anachronism in this day and age. If we could make the CF card one big jffs2 filesystem, we'd be better off. Unfortunately, grub doesn't understand jffs2 yet.
