Hi Folks

as discussed earlier in this list I am working on a cups package for
Bering-uClibc. Right now I have a running package with a number of
limitations, like no Kerberos, no ldap, no php, e.t.c.

Still the size of the package is about 3.5 MB, which makes it non
eligible for floppy based installations.

In my set up I am using a 4 GB CF with ext2 file systems for booting,
persistent cups storage and part of the less used cups executables. The
start procedure is somehow peculiar, as the persistent data is expanded
first into /tmp and then moved to the flash medium (depending on
parameters in the default file).

The compile process extends the capabilities of the current buildenv.
Due to the early stage I make this available as cups.lrp until it is
settled a bit more ( and I find time to move it to CVS ). If you are
interested, drop me a line.

cheers

Erich
