I want to use harddisk in WISP. But WIPS doesn't support DMA. If I try to use DMA, I got:
# hdparm -d1 /dev/hdc /dev/hdc: setting using_dma to 1 (on) HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Operation not permitted using_dma = 0 (off) Enabling DMA in kernel will not help. WISP probably doesn't have compiled in kernel modules (drivers) for IDE interfaces: Uniform Multi-Platform E-IDE driver Revision: 6.31 ide: Assuming 33MHz system bus speed for PIO modes; override with idebus=xx PIIX4: IDE controller on PCI bus 00 dev 39 PIIX4: detected chipset, but driver not compiled in! PIIX4: chipset revision 1 PIIX4: not 100% native mode: will probe irqs later What can I do with this? jks ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: ApacheCon 2003, 16-19 November in Las Vegas.
