Except that we already have another name for that time scale TAI In the long run it will be interesting to see how or whether various disciplines and user groups distinguish between TAI and GST. Galileo system time will be guaranteed to be within 50 ns of TAI for 95% of the time. To whom is that a difference that will make a difference?
