Because "Everything" includes everything in here: https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/?do=index and I guess you don't really want to have each and every little change to the devicepages (/toh/yourbrand/yourmodel) go through git. Don't get me wrong, I just want to clarify the scope of your proposal. You can and will get everything you want, because I support your proposal to lift the developer docs to a new level of quality.
