We are getting massively OT, but let me wrap this up.
If you really want to upgrade your system without reinstalling, try this:
1. Attached to this e-mail you will find a file; modify
/etc/apt/sources.list to match its content *exactly*.
2. as root, run
apt-get update
and then
apt-get dist-upgrade
*If* everything goes smoothly, you should have your system upgraded and ready
to install ledger 3. That's a big 'if': your machine is currently in a broken
state and there is no way to guess if this will work or not. Make a backup
of your data *before* attempting the upgrade and be prepared for the worst
case scenario.
Good luck!
