Reinstalling is a major job and because I have an EFCI (IIRC) mobo I need to setup using gparted then when the install gets sort of far enough I spend lots of hours trying to get nvidia drivers working. The last time I did this I spent about 12 or 13 days of 5 to 8 hours a day getting things going. I don't really want to do that again any time soon. My wife has told me that another redo is going to drive her crazy and she is pushing for MS because it 'works'. This is after having downloaded DVD-1 from Debian testing and only added the non-free repositories I wonder - - - oh well its going to have to work - - - I have a lot of paperwork to get done for the government and I don't have time for another round of install headaches!
