There's no supported way to put a date on an individual posting line without using some custom metadata. The simplest and most accurate way to model this is to use an account for TransferWise itself, like this:
2017/07/07 Funds Transfer Initiation Assets:ING:Current Account -1000 EUR Assets:TransferWise 850 GBP 2017/07/15 Funds Transfer Completion Assets:Lloyds:Current Account 850 GBP Assets:TransferWise This lets you query the TransferWise account to see what's in flight at any given time and it lets you put dates on both legs of the transaction. --Pete On Sat, Aug 19, 2017 at 2:07 PM Paul Jewell <teulup...@gmail.com> wrote: > Good afternoon all! > > I have been using Ledger since the start of the year to bring a semblance > of order to my finances! > > However, I have a challenge which I am hoping someone can help me with.
