So if I changes a transaction record from:

2014.07.17 Superstore - fuel
    Expense: fuel - gas - clear: 9350.10.51.01 $ 19.05
    Expense: fuel - gas - clear: 9764.01.04.00 $ 4.76
    Expense: GST -- personal: 8762.10.10.20 $ 0.95
    Expense: GST - business: 8762.10.10.10 $ 0.24
    Asset: PC Financial: 1002.70.20.00 $ -25.00

to:

2014.07.17 Superstore - fuel
    Expense: fuel - gas - clear: 9350: 10: 51: 01 $
19.05
    Expense: fuel - gas - clear: 9764: 01: 04: 00 $
4.76
    Expense: GST -- personal: 8762: 10: 10: 20 $
0.95
    Expense: GST - business: 8762: 10: 10: 10 $
0.24
    Asset: PC Financial: 1002: 70: 20: 00 $
-25.00

I would be able to use a query which could do something like

1. totals in a time period for 9350: 10: 51: 01
2. totals in a time period for 9350
3. totals in a time period for 9350 to 9362

Please advise?
