One of the things I want to contribute (and yes, GIT would make doing this easier for me), is the ability to run LSMB in a directory as a mortal user. That is, run the postgresql cluster as the current user, with a local pg_hba.conf, etc. This reduces the installation problem for a single user significantly, and frankly, also makes developer work easier. I actually done this for three other Postgresql web-apps (and also for several mysql-based rails apps... pg is way easier...) - -- ] He who is tired of Weird Al is tired of life! | firewalls [ ] Michael Richardson, Sandelman Software Works, Ottawa, ON |net architect[ ] m...@sandelman.ottawa.on.ca http://www.sandelman.ottawa.on.ca/ |device driver[ Kyoto Plus: watch the video <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzx1ycLXQSE> then sign the petition. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Finger me for keys iQEVAwUBS7qbUoCLcPvd0N1lAQLoWAf/ctFw3jWCJVOEHUPzM5zohFUFDCoqaKlZ TlGJhITtfTK4xhQS2xPrSZxP7QuJJAlinAuEQfRHxrFwMvLhcAqs0H7iXl1/qk4Z IwTrTfxceZeqpafqn53XRlUXziH4wNPHuJUYmT9/mG62uogTPjg4s0wF5Fymbqw4 i6kaBHIb/fWwHqiskpMTCx8WRP1xDnn2O037/GO5RdaPJyt3FX/ZbJo4g080ZZ7n cqVSyMsYzpEyE+qrKAuEejnNTRsrBiSC54tDLQqjqO+L7Gbn7wFIc+tJWp6L23ve YKeFpkV5HAHy9k2tqgv39NLjkCaREXpOZqTGkZrrLFGL0JBGjukrFA== =ym7q -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Download Intel® Parallel Studio Eval Try the new software tools for yourself.
