Or the setup.pl login? I assume that what you mean by the "setup.pl login" is the following: I can start the setup process using "postgres" as the super user. It then returns with "LedgerSMB 1.2 found" and offers me to upgrade. The "normal" login (login.pl) is the one that gives me the authentication errors. What I'm trying to do here is to simulate the upgrade process as I plan to perform on my production server. For this, I install the 1.3.15 package in a virtual machine, restore a Postgresql dump from the production machine (by running sudo -u postgres psql -f postgresql-dump-file), and pointing a browser to setup.pl. Would you consider this a valid simulation? Thank you for looking into this.
