AP invoice is indeed Debit invoice in the LSMB menu under AP.

That's correct. It only shows the years for which there are AP transactions
in the system. If you don't have any yet, the selection list stays empty.
To the other questions I don't have any ready-answers at this time. Maybe
others can chime in.
