Richard et al, apologies if this has already been said. I concur (as usual) with you about most of what you say. I think Faye's contrasting performances 1st and 2nd are down to him being short of match fitness and if he can pace himself for full 90 minutes he will be a splendid acqusition. Naylor and Collins in truth did not have much to do on Saturday but when they did they did not come up to scratch. Boro looked totally ineffective throughout the game, put in one decent ball and we are at least 5 yards too deep and Naylor lets Boyd get goal-side of them. Teams really do not need to work hard to score against us and we must sort it out. At one point Boyd was left unmarked because neither Dickie or Liddie could communicate about who was picking him up. Howson frustrates me, he lost the ball a few times in front of our back 4. He does some great stuff but I would play Kilkenny before him every time. More consistent. Finally, I agree Becchio has his limitations but at this level he can do the business. His work rate is excellent and he is a brave lad. He is a typical lower league centre forward with only rare glimpses of south american skill. Somma is doing better than we thought, Snoddie looks to be back at his best and I like Connelly. If we can just get 2 decent centre halves ..................................
