Didn't think this was a bad performance - certainly a massive
improvment on the dross home form we've had of late.
Gradel looked lively and Snodgrass is clearly finding some form. There
were periods in which we passed the ball quickly and confidently -
thanks in no small part to the inclusion of Kilkenny. We really
noticed the difference when he was taken off.
Howson contributed little - he needs some consistency. Johnson - good
strike for the goal but the OG was a bit of a joke. Can't really agree
with Rich that he was at fault for their first goal. That was the best
strike we've seen this season and you just can't legislate for that. I
would have Kilkenny start ahead of him every time though.
Becchio - excellent piece of skill to set up Johnson for the
equaliser!! He was pretty poor all told. Won nowt in the air and nowt
stuck to him. Think Paynter deserves a shot playing his role.
Defensively we look more confident with O'Brien in there. Listeningto
him interviewed before cov got the impression he is keen to stay as
long as poss so extend please.
Hull were shit - I think they will struggle this year. Had the
misfortune of getting caught up with their fans going in to the
ground. Good job I've had my jabs is all I can say.
