Agree. He needs time on the pitch to make enough chances in order  to 
create one. He missed a chance with the last kick of the game the other  week - 
and got slagged for it. But he'd only been on the pitch since the 83rd  
minute. Saha had been on the rest of the game and did nothing. He's being

They have all been saying "oh it's the pressure of the Prem,  he'd have
buried that at Leeds". Not true at all.

I liked Beckford,  but at Leeds he has has always needed 5 chances to
score a goal. The thing  was that his pace and movement meant he got an
awful lot of chances in  League 1 so you forgave his errent finishing
as he still bagged a hatful.  If you miss 5 chances at a struggling
Prem team, you may not get on the  pitch to have many more.

When he scored the other week I said to my  Everton mate "good stuff,
but be warned he'll miss his next 5 chances".  Sure enough...<<
