I think the team have done brilliantly this season in getting it
together and punching above our weight (proved today) with attitude,
confidence, determination and a brilliant crowd.

"Punching above our weight"?!? Are you kidding?!? We are Leeds U-fxxxingNited!
We are the biggest club in the Football League and should be having teams like
Swansea for breakfast, for crying out loud. This is the season we should have
gone up, but out inability to perform simple defensive tasks means another
season in the Championship next year, when it will be even harder to get
promoted.

how we missed Johnson today! Reckon we'd have earned a good 2-2
(Sinclair 12 Becchio 32 Somma 79 Dobbie 89) with our usual line up.
I've seen a few more games than usual this year (at all those score
draws we've snatched from the jaws of victory) and must say I've been
impressed with Johnson in as much as he bosses the midfield - or at
least tries to - and generally plays a fair ball when simple ball is
on - and i was biased as I didn't think he was good enough for league
one, and then the transfer issue. I also note that Becchio makes
things happen - not just by scoring, but he has an influence on the
crowd and the team and the opposition. Remember Smith's near debut up
against adams and keown when he wound them both up that they should
both have seen red, becchio has a bit of that. Suspect today's game
didn't show that Somma or 442 were particularly our best starting
options. I'd love Paynter to get a goal or few as I feel he could be
the Becchio alternative that could work with Somma, however, as it
stands we clearly need 3 midfielders to complement the wonderful snods
and gradel.
