It's worth taking it out for the first event of death or diagnosis of critical 
illness. If you find out that you haven't long to go its better to spend the 
money on your family while you are still alive to do it. Also consider 
including you wife on the cover so that you can afford to look after junior if 
anything happens to her. It can all be done on one policy but is better on two 
(but more expensive)

  I m happy to take any recommendations, im looking for a life insurance. one
  that will pay out a lump sum if shit happens to me. got a partner and a
  kiddo to "pay", even in the event of death! :-)
